Aú with a circular movement of the legs.
Move Background
A helicoptero is an Aú with a circular movement of the legs, like a helicopter. Helicoptero benefits from rotating at the spine. For this reason, make sure that you are thoroughly warmed up. The movement gets its name from the movement of the legs, which mimic a helicopter.
Step by step guide
The technique starts off as a regular au, but when the body is inverted (both legs are off the ground), a twist of the legs is done so that the leg that left the ground second lands on the ground first.
This technique can be combined with the "master swipe" from tricking to add more spin and make the move more aesthetic.
The master swipe is a cartwheel where the inside leg leaves the ground first in contrast to the outside leg from a regular cartwheel
