Angoleiros do Mar's philosophy includes a responsibility for the development of our own work at different levels, an effort to improve and develop the technical and theoretical skills of the Capoeira (practitioner of Capoeira). We use Capoeira as a valuable educational, artistic and cultural resource and we strive to deepen the development of the Capoeira, and restore an understanding of the value of a "Mestre" as a creator and mediator of Brazilian culture and experience.
