Used in capoeira to designate the change in position of the legs. The Troca de Pé is used to feint or to facilitate an attack by adopting the best position in relation to the leg that one wishes to use.

Step by step guide

  • Literally change of Foot, from a Negativa position with the leg extended, a slight hop during which the extended leg becomes the support leg and the guard arm becomes the support arm and vice versa.
