The state of Pernambuco in northeastern Brazil is renowned for its musical traditions, beautiful sandy beaches and tough, uncompromising street capoeira. It was in this state, in the town of Olinda, near Recife, that the style of the Capoeira Camara group was formed. The curator of the school in Russia is Professor Cicatriz (Dmitry Ershov).
