Capoeira Oxóssi London was founded in Wimbledon by Alizinho and Dr. Guerreira.
Instructor Alizinho (Matia Sampietro) is the founder and lead instructor at Capoeira Oxóssi London under the supervision of Mestre Mussa da Bahia and Mestre Índio do Mercado Modelo.
The general spirit of the group is one of inclusion, and they believe in the importance of understanding one’s limits and to work towards overcoming them at one’s pace in a positive and supportive environment. Further, as a group they aim to contribute instilling and promoting important life vales such as respect, loyalty, integrity, discipline and consistency and they strive to always be a positive example for their students.
