The Capoeira Alto Astral Group was created in 1995, through Mestre Marco António (Based in Recife / PE, and associated with the Pernambucan Federation of Capoeira, chaired by Mestre João Mulatinho). Five years later, more precisely in October 2000, due to the growth in work and the need to formalize projects, the Alto Astral de Capoeira Association was founded. The latter, having a philanthropic and assistance character, aims to preserve the cultural, scientific and social aspects that involve capoeira. CAA is represented in mainland Portugal (Greater Lisbon), Alentejo, Sesimbra and Porto, Romania and Germany. Our classes are open for registration throughout the year and our Group is always interested in implementing new social or sports intervention projects.
