Learn Capoeira

This is the pants that forms the capoiera uniform. Abadás are generally white and will have the Capeoeira school's logo. They are usually made of polyester which stretches very well, and it has belt loops to hold your belt/chord in place. White uniform symbolises purity and cleanliness. Mestre Bimba, chose white for the uniform, to show the uniforms of his students were clean. Back in those days capoeira was judged to be the pastime of petty criminals and vagabonds. To create a distance between his school and that common perception, he chose white uniforms. It is also believed that the white colour has religious ties, thus making it appropriate for capoeira demonstrations
