The center was founded in 2003 as a non-profit organization in Cologne to promote intercultural exchange between German and Brazilian culture and to enable encounters between people from both cultures.
This is intended to create a deeper awareness as well as a respectful handling of other forms of cultural expression.
We want to contribute to establishing constructive and fundamental communication in order to enable peaceful social coexistence.
We support groups whose activities focus on practice as well as education within the framework of art and folk culture, and we encourage different forms of cultural expression.
In a receptive atmosphere, we work with people from different social classes, regardless of age, with or without migration biographies, and we motivate people to be part of our work.
