Bamba discovered Capoeira in July 1998 during a Roda in the park. Impressed by the movements and acrobatics, the 13-year-old Bamba joined the Senzala school with Mestre Torneiro and Cristina. He began teaching in 2006 in Paris with two regular classes per week. It was in 2007 that he finished his physics studies and decided to make Capoeira his profession. He therefore created the association Vamos Capoeira with Anjinho, with the aim of centralizing their activities in Paris. In 2012, in the desire to improve technically and always better structure but also professionalize his activity, Bamba joined the federation ABADA-Capoeira (Mestre Camisa). He thus founded with a group of students and parents, the Jogaki association which aims to democratize the art of Capoeira and make it accessible to all audiences in Paris and Ile-de-France. Currently, Bamba teaches Capoeira daily to children (from 4 to 6 years old then from 7 to 10 years old) as well as to adolescents and adults, intervenes in schools, associations and corporate events. Passionate about Art and Science, he also produces photographs and videos for the association and participates in various artistic projects. Following the example of Mestre Camisa, he lives off his passion and thus wishes to give continuity to the work of ABADA (social, cultural, educational) in France.
