In 2003 Nugget came to Germany to lead the then still small Capoeira group in Heidelberg. Since then he has been campaigning for the spread of the Brazilian martial art in the region - with success: Thanks to Mestre Nugget, capoeira has a permanent place in Heidelberg and the surrounding area today. At the beginning of 2017, Nugget fulfilled a long-cherished dream and founded the independent group "Maré Alta Capoeira".
