The Malta de Capoeira Association was founded in 2010. Armando (Pao Doce), Francisco (Chefe), Aluizio (Tuba) and Archimedes (Nenem) were students of the group Meia Lua Interia in Recife, Brazil. The friends broke up with their original group, and several of them immigrated to Denmark to spread knowledge about Capoeira and Brazilian culture.
