Capoeira Angola group is based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, under the leadership of Ronnie Julianto Bakker and Ilma van de Beek. They learned capoeira from professor Totti Angola, who was a student of Mestre João Grande in New York since 1994, and started teaching in The Netherlands in 2002. After he left to Brazil in 2013, Ilma and Ronnie started GCAH to maintain and promote the art of Capoeira Angola in The Netherlands.
