On July 6, 2006, the Capoeira Baiana Cultural Center - CCCB was born, founded by Gilmar Caldas Suarez, known in the world of Capoeira as “Careca”.The Capoeira Baiana Cultural Center - CCCB - It is a school of "Capoeiragem" Soteropolitana (From S. Bahía) that has its origin in the teachings of Mestre Bimba, which were transmitted to us through generations following the lineage of Mestre Vermelho 27. The Capoeira Baiana Cultural Center - CCCB has as its goal the training of citizens, as well as the training of qualified teachers to transmit the teachings of Regional Capoeira, seeking to convey the importance of the figure of Teacher, within the world of “Capoeiragem”. At the same time, it also aims to disseminate and disseminate the Baiana Regional Capoeira, respecting its principles, preserving its traditions, applying its teaching methodology, as well as the Baiana and Brazilian Culture through classrooms, courses, lectures, experiences, festival events and exhibits.
