Ungo capoeira is also socially committed to underprivileged neighborhoods in Récife in Brazil and has supported the establishment of capoeira courses in Cap Haitien in Haiti. For the bringing together of peoples and the use of capoeira as a non-violent art which allows everyone to express themselves freely, to learn and to get closer to each other.
