Abadá-Capoeira is an institution of public utility with representatives in all Brazilian territory and in more than 60 countries, publicizing the art of capoeira and Brazilian culture. Its founding president is José Tadeu Carneiro Cardoso, Mestre Camisa. It was founded in 1988 and since then has been growing and contributing to the constant evolution of capoeira art.
